A decision support system (DSS) is an information system that supports business or organizational decision-making activities.
Objectives
The objective of the National Hydrology Project is to “improve the extent, quality, and accessibility of water resources information and to strengthen the capacity of targeted water resources management institutions in India. Under component C, one of the major activities is to setup a Decision Support System (Planning& Management) [DSS(PM)] for IWRM based river basin planning and management”.
